Just ya know trying to keep up

Hey guys here I am checking in again. I am sorry if I haven't been up to date with my posts I have been really busy with life lately. Last night one of my beautiful girls almost died. Molly went into became severely dehydrated after many bouts of vomit and other unpleasantness. She must have gotten into something bad for her, however, unfortunately I have no idea what it could have been. Luckily, she is fine now after a trip to the emergency vet last night and careful watch all day. It makes me appreciate life and how much of an impact a dog can have on a person. When I look at her I can feel the love course through me and it is such a powerful emotion. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am that she is okay. All this business and the accident is making me realize I need to smell the roses a little more and tell those I love how much I do love before I lose the chance to. So I am making myself take a new challenge tell one person a day how much they really mean to you everyday for thirty days. I don't think this is a particularly hard goal but it means too much for me not to do.......Also, I have not been a good girl. My exercising has been completely out of sync this past week. I had one serious workout this whole week. Not to mention I haven't made the best food choices lately. Hello, drive through. I just need to remember, "When in doubt, just take the small next step." This quote is from a ninety year old man on an amazing site that I found using StumbleUpon.  http://kangalex.com/post/31729006624/45-life-lessons-written-by-a-90-year-old
I know I am old fashioned still stumbling but I can't help it, I freaking love to stumble!!! So here is a small list for my current goals for the upcoming week.

-Exercise 5 days out of the week
-3 days of cardio & 2 days of resistance training

-Get a scale for my own use!

-Spend more quality time with my dogs, they aren't going to be here forever.

-STUDY

-No drive through.
-Prepare meals ahead of time so there isn't whole convenience factor.

-Tell one person a day how much they really mean to me.

-Enjoy life :)

Now off to bed with me! Have a wonderful night everyone.

Jamming

Hey world,
Well I am getting myself and trying to live life to the fullest. I got Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy and I LOVE IT!!!! This is definitely one of my favorite books ever. Right now I am currently sitting in one of my neighbors living room and listening to them make music. Two of my neighbors are DJ's and one of their friends is a very talented producer. I have to admit the friend has a nice smile, but lets not get ahead of ourselves! I have ran through the park with my two very best friends this week, my two dogs Dr. Molly Wobbles and Luna Petunia. Seriously best running partners ever. I haven't done any resistance training yet, however, I plan on doing that tomorrow. I will post the workout that I do with it as well. Also, I may not have said this in my first post, but hula hooping is pretty much the bomb. I have never had so much fun with something so simple. If you haven't tried it please do! Well, time to jam. I will catch up with more details tomorrow. Have a wonderful night, loves!

The Beginning!

So I am not sure how to start this out. I guess you should know a little about me. My name Brandalyn and I am from this beautiful little coastal town called Southport, North Carolina. Until this February I was married, and now newly single it is my mission to live the fullest life I possibly can. Life is too short and beautiful to let it just pass me by. So, to do this I have a made a commitment to myself to achieve a few personal goals and at least attempt a few other things that just seem awesome. Here is my list, some of these are short term and some are long term, however, many of these are going to be things I work on my whole life. Please don't hesitate to tell me what you think, even if what you're saying is negative all feedback is appreciated and I am just happy I can share my story with the world.

Anyways at 5'10'' I weighed 204 when I started my journey. I now weigh 177 after months of eating healthy and exercising regularly. My end goal is 144 and I hope to weigh that much by the time Christmas rolls around. I plan to add more to this list, I just haven't gotten there yet.
